Douglas Stuart is a specialist recruitment agency based in Macclesfield. Their team of researchers and consultants are industry specialists, who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to address the complex range of challenges facing clients in their HR, Executive and contracting requirements. The company works in three main sectors; Energy (upstream, midstream, downstream, renewables and nuclear), Infrastructure (power generation and distribution, utilities and transportation) and Supply Chain (shipping, rail & road, airfreight, warehousing, ports and terminals).

Northern Quarter Corporate Photography

Following on from a project for Shield Safety, the directors from Douglas Stuart gathered at Shiled Safety’s offices in Manchester for a photoshoot of their own. This was for their rebranded website. We used the same office for some of the shoot as there were meetings booked in between the two companies. So, my schedule had to remain slightly fluid, and a little ad-hoc, which is no problem. In between meetings (some of which I captured live), I photographed the team inside and outside the offices in the Northern Quarter, Manchester, to avoid too much plain background ‘corporate-ness’. I think the shoot looks great personally - all available light and fast prime lenses.

This project as a Corporate Photographer Manchester was relaxed, though our shooting schedule was tight in places. We nailed everything we wanted to achieve in the day and my clients were very happy with the results. Sometimes it’s great to think (and work) outside the box as a Corporate Photographer Manchester, with great clients who understand what we do as photographers, and are willing to try something a little different, gritty even.
